How TenderDhundo works
Government bodies in India publish their tenders on their own portals — central ministries on the CPPP portals, each state on its own e‑procurement site, GeM for goods and services, CPWD for its own works. A contractor looking for work has to check each one. This site reads 41 of those portals every night and puts what is open into one search, with the closing date, the value where the portal states one, and a link back to the portal that published it.
It is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and nothing is sold here. Bidding happens on the portal, not here.
Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. There is no account, no subscription and no paid listing.
Where does the information come from?
From the government portals themselves. Every listing is copied from the portal that published it and links back to it. You can see which portals are covered on the portals page.
How current is it?
The whole list is rebuilt every night, so closed tenders drop out and new ones appear. The header says when it was last updated. A portal can amend or withdraw a tender during the day, which is why the deadline on the portal is the one that counts.
Can I download the tender documents here?
No. Most portals put their documents behind a login and a CAPTCHA, so each listing links to the portal page instead. Where a portal publishes the bid document openly, as GeM does, the listing links straight to it.
Do you bid on my behalf?
No. This site has no connection with any government department and takes no part in bidding. It shows you what is open; the bid is yours.
Why do some tenders show no value?
Because the portal did not publish one — GeM, for instance, publishes none at all. Where a value is marked est., it was estimated from the tender’s earnest money deposit and should be treated as a rough guide.
How do I find tenders for my trade in my district?
Type the place or the work in the search box, or use the filters for work type, location and value. You can also browse by city, by work type or by department — and pages like “Roads & Bridges tenders in Chennai” can be bookmarked or shared.
What if a listing is wrong?
Tell us the Tender ID and what looks wrong through the contact page. Where the mistake is on the portal’s own page we cannot correct it, but the link on every listing goes to the source so you can check for yourself.
