About TenderDhundo
TenderDhundo is a free search over the government tenders that are open in India right now. It is run by Hi-Tech Engineers, a contracting firm in Delhi.
Why it exists
Indian government bodies publish their tenders on their own portals. The central ministries use the CPPP portals, each state runs its own e-procurement site, GeM carries goods and services, CPWD has its own, and the larger PSUs have theirs. There are dozens of them, they look alike but behave differently, and none of them shows you what is happening on the others.
For a contractor that means opening portal after portal to answer a simple question: what work is open near me, in my trade, that I can still bid for?
This site answers that question in one search.
How it is put together
Every night, software reads the public tender listings on 41 portals — the same pages anyone can open in a browser — and rebuilds the whole list from scratch. Tenders that have closed drop out, new ones appear, and the date at the top of the site tells you when that last happened.
Each listing keeps what the portal published: the tender's own ID, the department, the closing date, the location, and the value where one is stated. Nothing is edited, and the listing links back to the portal it came from.
Some things are worked out on top of that, and are marked as such:
- Work type — each tender is sorted into one of 14 trades from its title, so you can filter by the kind of work rather than by department.
- Estimated values — where a portal publishes no value but does publish an earnest money deposit, a rough value is estimated from it and shown with est. beside it. Treat those as indicative only.
What it does not do
- It is not a government website and has no connection with any department, ministry, PSU or portal.
- It does not bid for anyone, prepare bids, or act as an agent.
- It does not sell anything. No subscription, no paid listings, no fees.
- It cannot fetch documents that sit behind a portal login or CAPTCHA. Where a portal publishes the bid document openly, the listing links straight to it; otherwise it links to the portal page where you can download it yourself.
Coverage, honestly
41 portals are read every night, and the portals page lists all of them with what each has open. It is not everything: some state and PSU portals run different software that needs separate work, and those are named on that page too.
If a portal you rely on is missing, tell us — that is how the last six were added.
Accuracy
Listings are copies of what the portals published. If a portal states a wrong date or value, it appears here the same way, and a tender amended or withdrawn during the day reaches this site at the next nightly rebuild.
So the rule on every page holds: confirm the deadline and the documents on the portal that published the tender before you bid.
Data and privacy
The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics and asks for no account. Nothing you type into the search box leaves your device. The privacy policy says so in full.
