How to find the right tenders on TenderDhundo

TenderDhundo puts the open tenders from 41 government portals — central ministries, state portals, PSUs, GeM and CPWD — into one search, rebuilt every night. This is how to get what you want out of it in under a minute.

Search by keyword

The box at the top searches the tender's title, the buying department, the work classification, the place and the tender's own ID. So all of these work:

• road repair — the work
• Pulwama — the place
• Municipal Corporation — the department
• 2026_DMA_1337107_1 — a tender ID someone sent you

The search also matches related words. Typing school building also finds vidyalaya, college and classroom work, because departments name the same thing differently. The line under the box tells you which extra words it matched.

To switch that off and match exactly what you typed, put it in quotes: "school building".

Narrow it down

• Type of work — 14 trades, from Roads & Bridges to Electrical & Power.
• Portal / source — one state or one central portal at a time.
• Location — tap the box for the commonest places, or type a few letters. The number beside each place is how many tenders it holds right now, counted against your other filters.
• Organisation — the buying department. "municipal" finds municipal bodies in every state at once.
• Deadline — still open, or include closed ones.
• Max value — keep tenders above your capacity out of the list.
• Order by — closing date, or tender value highest or lowest first. On a computer you can also click the Value or Closing column heading to sort.

Everything you have set appears as a row of chips under the filters, each with an × to drop it, and a Clear all button.

Send a list to someone

Hit Copy link and the address carries your filters with it. Send it to a partner or your estimator and they see the same list you do — for example, all Roads & Bridges work in Rajasthan, most valuable first.

Browse instead of searching

If you would rather start from a place or a trade, the menu has:

• By city or district — 400 places
• By work type — 14 trades
• By department — 300 buying departments
• By portal — all 41 portals, with what each has open

Inside a city you can narrow by trade, so "Buildings & Civil tenders in Chennai" is one page you can bookmark or share.

What the numbers mean

• Closing date with a badge — closes today, 1 day left, and so on, worked out against your device's date, not the date the list was built.
• Value — as published by the portal. Where a value is marked est., the portal did not state one and it has been estimated from the EMD; treat it as a rough guide only.
• Tenders that state no value at all are listed last when you sort by value, and the count beside the results tells you how many those are.

What it does not do

• It does not bid for you, and it is not connected to any government department.
• It cannot download documents that sit behind a portal login or CAPTCHA. Each listing links to the portal page, or to the bid document where the portal publishes one openly.
• It shows what the portals published. Where a portal states something wrong, it appears here the same way — always confirm the deadline and documents on the portal before you bid.

Every day

The whole list is rebuilt overnight, so closed tenders drop out and new ones appear. The header says when it was last updated; if that ever reads more than a day or two old, the figures below it are that old too.
